Superior Super Warehouse is the largest independently owned chain of grocery supercenters in Southern California, having opened its first store in Los Angeles, California during 1981. We currently operate 18 supermarkets to serve the community. Superior opened its 18th store in North Hollywood, California during January of 2004. Service to the Superior customer is the first priority of every employee. Without customers, there would be no Superior. Therefore, every employee we recognize that is dedicated to serving our customer's needs. Customers are greeted by the courteous and friendly smiles of the Superior family of employees. Superior is dedicated to providing groceries at a price lower than anyone else, with customer-friendly employees. Superior specializes in providing the highest quality merchandise at the lowest price possible. Delivering excellent service to all of our customers is of great importance to us. Despite the "Warehouse" in our name, Superior is not a club. There is no membership required. It costs nothing to join or to shop here. That mirrors our entire philosophy. For over 20 years, we've been here to save people money, to reinvigorate neighborhoods, to become a source of pride for the communities we serve.
